Mt Washington’s 7th annual Run for Roch is scheduled for Sat July 30th – mark your calendars & start training!
Come run/walk Roch’s course atop Pittsburgh’s beautiful Mt. Washington & enjoy the exhilarating, panoramic view from Grandview Avenue

Run For Roch 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk: 8:45 am Saturday, July 30, 2011
The USA Track & Field certified 5 Kilometer race is flat at the beginning and end, with several gentle to moderate slopes in the center. The walking course is completely flat. The panaramic view atop Pittsburghs most famous and newly renovated hilltop road is breathtaking. Runners timing is provided by Runners High using the Championchip.RUNNERS Course will start at grandview and Shiloh Streets by the Monongahela Incline. The course will runthe length of Grandview Ave. to Republic St., turn back down Grandview Ave. to PJ McArdle Roadway (0.2 miles), back up the Roadway onto Grandview and finish at Shiloh St.WALKERS Walk scenic Mt. Washingtons Grandview Ave. from the Monogahela Incline to Saint Marys of the Mount Church and back. Your participation will also contribute to the Scholarship Fund and enter you for race day prizes.
